Introduction to skepticism.
My 9 year old daughter was looking up something about Littlest Pet Shop toys online last night. Then she came to me and the following conversation ensued:
“Hey Mom, I was at the Littlest Pet Shop site and this thing came up that said the one millionth visitor had won a Wal-Mart gift card. Do you want me to click it?”
No, sweetie. They lie. Never, ever click those.
“They lie?”
Yep. Especially if it’s flashing.
.
“Okay. Never click those because they lie.”

I am so glad my child is skeptical of advertising.

;-P
That is a healthy skepticism to have.
